BLACK WIRE can go to GRN7 or GRN8. It doesnt matter since that connector supports 2 USB connections. I'm having same issues on my Asus Maximus VI Impact. Cant even get the Antec CC to display under USB in Device Manager. Fresh install of Windows 7 64-Bit. Have not been able to get online to update Windows or.NET Framework - As soon as able I will update those and try again.

(Code 10)' The app gets 'Cannot connect to Chill Control device. Check USB connection on device and restart the Chill Control Application' The pump is quiet and the logo is lit. Can anyone who has reached this point in the saga and got it working, tell me what the next step is?

What they have said in the previous pages on this thread is in device manager update drivers for the antec cc automatically. Meaning rightclick on antec cc and update drivers, select the automatic option and it should work. I havent gotten that far yet as antec cc isnt showing up in my device manager. Neither is unknown device.

Code: HKLM Software Wow6432Node Antec Inc. ChillControl V 1.2.0.0. I corrected it and then I tried the application again and I captured another activity in: C: Users XXX AppData Local VirtualStore Program Files (x86) Antec CC.

This is where the file settings.lclc from our archive folder goes and what I needed. The setting file is saved into C: Users XXX AppData Local VirtualStore Program Files (x86) Antec CC and not into%ProgramFiles%. The same file in%ProgramFiles% is not used or maybe used for another reason. I'm not an expert with Process Monitor but the ANTEC driver is loading very often, in fact 4-5x times in a second, the hidden file CCIVSettings.ini.

I can imagine with so many read-errors it can slow down our pc? Or maybe it's an error in Process Monitor? Needless to say I also tried to un-install and re-install the driver, I also used a registry cleaner and rebooted to no avail. I hope it helps.

The factory fans are very noisy, do you use other fans and what model are they? What is the safe temperature for the liquid? Mine goes to 42 degrees.

Something strange happened today. While i was testing with Prime a strange repeating noise came from the PC (bzzzzz. Bzzzzzz.bzzzzzz.) and after a while the entire PC shutted down!

I started it again and everything seems normal, but i am worried what was that thing and why the PC turned off?! I haven't change anything in the PC. The temperature of the liquid was 38.6 degrees, core temperature was 77-78, and the video card temp. I was testing the temperatures with cudaminer for the GPU and Prime for the CPU for around 15 minutes when this happened. The rad fans are taking fresh air from outside the case and are exhausting the warm air inside the case. At the top of the case i have two 200mm fans that are exhausting the warm air outside the case.

Having the exact same problem with the USB error message in regards to Chill Control V. Funny thing is I had this thing working for a year and now I'm getting this stupid error message. I've done all the suggested troubleshooting steps except re-installing windows because I have yet to see a post confirming that would even work. Here's what I've done so far: -Unistalled drivers- reinstalled both v1.0 and v1.2 -Uninstalled drivers and disconnected USB cable from header. Rebooted and reinstalled drivers (v1.0 from disk) and reconnected USB header while PC was still on.Same thing as above but with v1.2 drivers -Tried connecting USB cable into the adjacent header -Connected another USB device into header to make sure the mobo was ok- it was -Updated BIOS -Updated Windows 7 -Positioned cables away from mother board just in case of magnetic interference (long shot but who knows?) The pattern I've seen from researching the Internet the past 48 hrs is most people suffering from this are using Windows 7 64bit which is what I have. I'm not even seeing the AntecCC displayed in my device manager or an '!' It's like it doesn't exist.

It must detect something because the fan runs on silent when it's plugged into the header and runs full boar when disconnected. I'm completely frustrated and annoyed.

This is not a small problem as it has affected a lot of customers. Why in the blue hell would I ship this back to Antect just so they can send me another piece of garbage that I would never trust.

H2o

I'm working with a 3D program to render complex special effects for a film and some of these effects need to rely on the CPU- a CPU that has to stay cool. This piece of s. crapping out on me has put me behind schedule and Antec's refusal to release a fix is unacceptable. I have no choice but to go buy another cooler from a DIFFERENT manufacturer. I intend to contact Antect and complain.

Stand by your products and fix your damn website- it's a joke. Originally Posted by Cancucklehead Having the exact same problem with the USB error message in regards to Chill Control V.
