Does not contain mineral oil, lanolin, proteins, silicones, dyes or artificial fragrances. 100% Vegetarian. Directions: For loose styles, work a small amount through damp or dry hair using fingertips to separate and enhance natural definition.
For twists and coils, apply a small amount to each section before styling. Tint may vary from batch to batch from white to tan due to color variations inherent in the natural botanicals. Due to a printing error, the labels on some of the 8 oz. Jars that shipped out on 9/5/09 and thereafter, erroneously lists wheat, corn and soy keratin as ingredients. I have been natural for well over 10 years and I have tried dozens of products. This is the only product that gives moisture and definition without making my hair hard or dry. I am highly disappointed that it is being discontinued and will now how to search for a new product line. I'm so disappointed to learn it's being discontinued. This was one of the first products I bought with Qhemet Biologics, when they were a very young company.

I would buy this product in batches of 10!!! I have used the product on my hair when it was relaxed, during the transitioning phase, on natural hair, and even on my natural hair when pressed (combines extremely well with Jane Carter's Nourish and Shine for healthy, bouncy, glossy, pressed natural curls). So I'm going to miss it when it's gone. My hair is so thick and course until nothing gives it definition but this HTSG is the BOMB. My hair is without the frizzy and my twist out pop. Keep this product coming. Was this review helpful to you?

My hair is resistant to a lot of gels, but this holds my hairline down without the hardness. In fact it gives it a silky shiny look. I also get nice soft twist outs with this minus the flakes. I also use it as a moisturizer when my hair is being difficult. I wish that there was a larger size.
